Caterpillar Tunnels are the most affordable way to achieve temporary covered growing space. These simple, tubular steel structures fix in place with simple ground anchors – no digging or drilling – and can be taken down, moved, and reused from season to season. Featuring steel hoops spaced 4′ apart with a simple ridge purlin holding it all together, these Caterpillar tunnels can be covered in plastic to protect crops in the spring and fall. Or, cover them in shade cloth to protect heat sensitive crops like lettuce and spincach during the heat of summer.
Similar to our Low Tunnel Kits, only much larger, Caterpillar Tunnels are the easiest, most affordable way to get growing footage under cover. Available in 16′ width and two lengths – 24′ and 48′ – you won’t regret your investment in this incredibly priced growing space!
